First off, the original song is awesome. The Scientist will always be one of my favorite Coldplay songs, but these two put their own spin on it. I hate some covers because the song gets completely lost and the original version is the greatest thing you’ll ever hear. In my opinion, this doesn’t happen. As much as it’s different, it’s mostly the same. (Plus, this is from the soundtrack for one of my favorite movies ever.)
